Mongolia -South to North-

Mongolia has vast range of field 

It has variety of climate and nature 

Large part of southern Mongolia is called Gobi, and 

northern Mongolia is covered with needle tree forests and fresh water

Luckily I had chance to visit many beautiful places in Mongolia

Mongolia is one of the most beautiful place in the earth

Flaming cliffs (Bayanzag) in Southern Gobi
Many dinosaur were found in this area
It is surprising that this place was used to be a jungle area and many huge dinosaurs were living in this area

It was my first experience to go to the desert
I was so amazed by the power of the nature

There were so many small creatures in the water

Goats are strong animals and they have guts

I visited several towns in the desert and every town looks so empty
There are houses but really few people








Middle of Mongolia 

Karakorum
The city used to be the biggest city in the world in 13th century
Many people from all around the world came and served for king, trade goods from East to West
After Soviet era, the city was destroyed and now the city is quite empty.
 Only walls and several temples
I wish I could see the busy time of the city

People say there were little rain in Mongolia in this summer
So this herder was already moving to a new place to reach the rich grass land

Northern Mongolia (Khovsgol area)
Khovsgol lake is one of the beautiful lake, keeping 1% of entire fresh water in the world

I went for a horse riding with a local herder
Horse is such an amazing animal. I can understand that horse is a gift from god to human
It is amazing that human can ride a horse
Great appreciation to horses and many animals that supporting human life

Morning is the best time to walk
Calm, quiet and fresh air
I can see many beauty at this time

How clean the water is!! 

Evening is also a good time
But evening light made me little bit sad because I always need the warmth of sunlight

Ulaanbaatar city
Ulaanbatar is a nice city, great mixture of Asian culture and European culture
After rain, sun light made the city looks more beautiful
