Horse rearing farm in Aomori

I visited a horse rearing farm in Aomori, which locates in the northernmost main island of Japan

The farm is run by a family of my horse medicine class teacher 

The family rears and produces strong horses to win horse racings

Some of the horses raised in this farm won several big prices and became famous

Weather was good enough to make me feel like taking my camera after several months

Mother and foals rest in the good afternoon

Stall was old but really clean and pleasant 

A mother of this foal died soon after she gave birth
So this foal is reared by a foster mother

This is a mother of a famous horse
We saw him running a race and  we spectated through a TV today
She is also a daughter of a famous horse 

Field time !!

Since it is getting hot,, horse are pastured from evening during night, 

when temperature is not high 

Today farmer let horses pastured earlier than usual so that we can see them running in the field

All horses were really friendly to people especially this foal

Spring 2016

 2016 spring came 

I moved to University near Tokyo in this spring

It is my first time to live in Tokyo area and I am going to live for two years

My place is only 20 mins apart from the center of Tokyo, however, there are lots of parks, trees and nice places to walk

Here I want to share this year spring breeze with you

Cherry blossoms 

This is my favorite tree
It looks different from other cherry blossom trees
I took several pictures of this tree from different angles

This year sakura (cherry blossom) was not standing out compared to previous year
Weather was not good during the flower season and color was not bright
It maybe be due to this warm winter

I didn't take my Canon camera, instead I took all of the sakura pictures with my Ricoh camera.
The color of pictures are the one I used to it so I feel like I am watching my old pictures

winter 2016

I apologize for not updating for more than two months

It was really hard for me to take good pictures

I used to go for a walk before sunrise due to my laboratory work

so I could not get enough light on in my picture

Also this winter was a really warm winter and we could not have much snow fall

Most of the day was cloudy 

Now, I moved from Iwate prefecture (north part of Japan)

and started my university life in near Tokyo

I am going to upload several photos that I took in Iwate
