Spring in Ushiku

There are four seasons in Japan.
However, Japanese season is said to be divided into 8, 24 and even 72
I took following pictures in the beginning of March and end of March
You will see some changes of nature within Spring

Beginning of March

A foggy morning
Prominent color is brown. But you can see new life under the dead plants

Baron ran out from my house in a foggy morning
Water drops on a dead plant

I could not find any bamboo shoots
....... But it is already there right now

Plum blossoms
Plum blooms before cherry blossom

Spider web is enjoying early spring morning wind

In the middle of large field, there is a place that people get together and drink tea
But  it is too cold to sit and rest in this season

End of March to April
I was welcomed by warm spring wind when I came back from India

Sakura
It is one of the famous flowers in Japan
Life span of sakura is said to be 60-80 years old
Japanese planted many sakura trees after World War two
Therefore many sakura trees stand on their last legs

Baron and Sakura

Unfortunately or Fortunately we had rainy days
Sakura lasted for long time but could not get strong light for taking pictures

There is a Sakura road near my house
I walked many times with Baron
He is a good dog. He comes whenever I call him but he always expects a cookie

Now he is an old dog
