Summer Vacation

I went to North Part of Japan (Hokkaido) in my summer vacation 

I recharged my battery by breathing fresh air 

eating good food

and talking with people

My dad:  Climbing up the hill, not that hard

Spreading out the kelp: Weed harvesting is popular in nearby sea.
We use them to make soup stocks. 

New born calf: A farmer called me at night to show me a new born baby.
Sadly, she will be sold to a dog food maker in a week.

One night drama: cow giving birth
It goes without saying, but cannot be surprised by the fact that all lactation cows have given birth
Nowadays, one cow can produce 30-60l of milk per day 

Work

There are million of jobs in the world 

Maybe every second someone comes up a new idea and starts new business

and someone shuts down the business 

These people make good pictures by doing their job

Calving

In hundred-degree weather a new life was born

It was boy so he will raise as a beef cattle 

and mother will soon start to produce milk 

Mother seemed to use lot's of energy and she couldn't stand up for long time

It is rare that calf and mother can stay in the same pen
Usually they are separated as soon as mother gives birth

Looking at enormous udder

Stand up 

I wish she will stay healthy
